I guess we gotta keep trying, haven't we ? :-?

I am more worried about you using the word, 'neat'. wink
How many has Britain also bombed?
Don't know, but it can't be as many as the USA has.
8) I must differ on this one cuz I can count at least six countries that have got better.

Sometimes it makes you just as bad to sit back and just watch it happen and then think , ummmmm what if I just got alittle involved.

Everyone is a smart ass after the facts.

You could have said maybe the US should have not got involved with WW1 and WW2 (even though they were late) and the UK and just let Hitler take Europe and do as he saw fit.

If the french and the UK actually done something before he took back the Rhineland, then WW2 may never have happened.

World affairs are very complicated and not just straight forward as we all seem to think.

I don't see places on that list where intervention has helped.

name 'em? Only if you want to mind, I wouldn't want you to think I was pressuring you

mrgreen
OK

Let start with Korea. South korea is doing very well thank you.
Grenada. this stopped some military nut job taking over and to resue
a number of westerners, And is now doing ok.Plus the UK was there as
well.
Libya. Has now or seems to be very pro western and agreeing on most things
the standard of life is better cuz they can now get western goods and sell
pil etc. even promise of free elections.
Panama. They seem to be sailing along nicely these days.
Yugoslavia. Don't see much mass killing going on, people being driven from
various parts of the country.
Nicaragua. Don't see or hear of people going missing never to be seen again.

Again these were not all American campiagns. Korea was not infact that was the UN, Serbia/yugoslavia was not that was by Europe and Nato. first iraq war was not was UN, vietnam had other troops and governments involved. So just to single out a single country is not really giving people the whole picture or truth.

Do we hear about the French Troops in africa that rapped women and robbed the bank, are there cries in the UN to deal with this, Haiti or various other countries where the UN has been deployed and committed crimes. Nope its all very silent.
So if we are going to complain and rant lets be fair about it all.

Plus you cannot change things over night it take time. Look at Germany or japan or even south korea.

Does that answer the question lol
Hmmmmm.....guess they haven't got the balls to go into North Korea yet, one country that can stand up to them, unlike Gadaffi's Libya roll
? As I said the Korean war was a war that was lead by the UN, so do you want the Un to say OK green light and go for it. Seems strange to me that people want to edit facts out of history.

Maybe the next time people are crying for help food aid or whatever they should look else where for help.

War is bad and at most a fruitless waste of individuals, but we keep doing it so that must say something about us. If you saw someone acttacked in the street do you ignore it, try to say have please don't do that or do you have to do something about it?

If the people, thats you and me felt soooooooo strong then there would be no war, no injustic, no hunger, no greed but there is. If we see something we don't like we turn it over. If its effecting someone else and not us we are ok with that.

Think about office politics and then put that into the world, its a hundred time worse.
If you have to fight, pick your fight, but i bet you any money that the fight you want to pick won't be the same as mine, or anyone elses, we all have different goals. we side with those that fit us (Iraq against Iran, Russian and German against Poland, then a quick switch with Russia joins and we let them against Germany).

History is a wonderful tool if people only studied it.

People like to at the moment pick on the US and for me alot of the foriegn policy sucks, imagine the UK marching into Southern Ireland to get the IRA a war against terrorists. I bet the US would have a great problem with that considering thats where the IRA gets most of its money, but now its not a problem to them to go else where. Its a double standard.

Thats the world we have to get along with. So don't blame or finger one single country, because we are all to blame and as for pointing figures, geeze the uk fought a war with china for drugs. No one is lilley white in any of this.

Geeze this should make for some debate lol (ahhh love to make people think)
shame north korea will stand up to other nations, yet indoctrinate the people to hate and lets them starve to death, or put them in concentration camps.

If anyone has "the balls" to go into North Korea, they'll be saying goodbye to Seoul.

And quite possibly large areas of Japan.

And nobody wants that.

/Especially those of us who own Kias or Daewoos. Or pretty much anything electronic.
//wouldn't miss the kimchee though.
///kimchee tastes like ass.
