Up to 570,000 illegal immigrants are living in the UK, according to a new Home Office estimate.
It is the first time the government has put a figure on the number of illegal immigrants, something Tony Blair in the past said was impossible.

They sent a survey out with all the census forms. In it included the question "Are you an illegal immigrant?" lol
funny how they could not get these figures before the election. They said on TV that 1 in 100 people are illegal. I wonder how many of them are Aussie Cooks, that gordan ramsey soooo much likes lol.

It is strange within a few days of WW2 we knew the location of most every German spy (Russian spies that is a different story) and rounded them up.
Yet in this day and age every 'Chinese' as (no doubt) several illegals and lots of moslems and others are on the lam in the UK , but no one seems to care.

I was listening to radio 4 when this came up. There's a really simple solution. You count those coming in, and you count them going out, you tally the numbers and anyone left over explains themselves. Well, that's what this chap in the hoiuse of lords said. I think we need official figures on nose pickers. We know who you are. Especially those of you in the turn lane next to us. You Nose Pickers need mandatory tinted windows.
I make sure I only pick my nose when I'm going fast on the interstate.....as soon as someone comes close to overtaking me, the finger comes out of the nose and everything goes back to normal. Never never pick your nose while waiting at a light lol
