I must be the only one that hasn't got one of these. I have never had the urge to get one, as much as I like my gadgets, this one doesn't fit into my lifestyle.

When I go to the gym, music plays there, when am in the car, there is a built-in mp3 player that comes standard, at home, I use a wireless media center to bounce music round every room in the house, including bathroom and toilets.

So I wasn't suprised today when I saw LG getting in on the action, with their version of the iPod shuffle, this is the same company that brought you the fridge with the TV in front of it.

Shame they didn't put a TV, or even an LCD screen, in front of it.

I don't own an iPod and never will. iTunes seems to be a ripoff compared to other legal music download sites.
I own a Muvo TX Fm Creative MP3 player. It is fantastic. 256 Mb and cheap as chips. It even has FM radio.

And I get all my downloads from http://www.epitonic.com and music.download.com where they are all free. And I have all my cd's "digitized" so I have plenty of choice.
that's what I am going to do this summer, bungle.
I wont' get an actual "IPod" but a decent MP3 player I can listen to at work, or in the car while Manc listens to Deacon Blue and Texas.
Also...you can just setup your own server, get your songs from ftps and irc channels, rather than being limited to a 5gb player, that doesn't even allow for easy upload

I'll bet $5 he listens to Ride as well. At least there's hope he likes Doves eh?

Dont have a i pod or any other pods for that matter ....
We have a CD player in the car that plays MP3s. That's about as far as I am going down that route.
There is nothing like throwin' in a cd with mp3s on it into the car cd player, and 9hrs later in Quebec city, it's still going. Schweeeeeeeeeet
The last thing you want is to have to listen to Quebec radio, n'est pas?
