British Expatriate Network

Not a British food I know. But whenever I eat one, that first bite gives me an instant smell memory of something I ate when I was a kid. Anyone remember what it was? It can only be LD bars too, I tried the Aldi off-brand, they were good but nowhere near the original.

I don't know what they remind me of in the uk, but have tried them when I was in TN, and they sort of remind me of tastycakes. I especial like the rasin cakes and oatmeal cakes.

I am only talking about the Nutty Bars. Not the other LD products.
