Anyone have any good memories, from going to one? I went to a couple in my university days, before it got all rowdy like it is now. Anyhoo....it starts this weekend

I went to 4 2 super muddy ones and 2 super scorchy hot ones. All were lots of fun for different reasons.
Ah....the good ol rain, doesn't disappoint

I think I've been to a 5 times though only when about 60,000 went (90s-mid 90s).

The worst one was when, having got there early and nabbed a decent spot our little campsite was surrounded by a Cardiff drug-dealing posse of about 30 blokes. They were very scary and there wasn't much Galstonbury spirit around - they fought constanly with each other about money and then got busted in the middle of the night.

Naturally, I slept through all this - due to alcohol and drugs cocktail.

I was always lucky with the weather - I never went to a damp Glastonbury. Though I remember clearly when I decided not to go anymore - I was snacking on a hot-dog at 7am/having had no spliff/sipping a warm can of lager/holding a spliff/hadn't washed for three days. I just thought time to do something different.

I always liked going to see Charlie Chuck on the last night Anyone else do that too?

Some mates back in England still go every year. One set still do the tent thing and another hire a camper van.
