Not sure how this new law will effect debate and jokes but I feel that this new law is way over the top. I am sure that most of the existing laws could have been used to prosecute violence and threatening behaviour.
But to protect religious views from the scorn and ridicule they deserve? That's absolutely ridiculous. In fact they should have passed a law that anyone who believes in any sort of metaphysical being ought to be locked up in a mental institution.

This is what is most worrying slowly taking away a persons rights to free speech expression .
You can dislike ( or as the laws puts it hate ) a persons religious beliefs/or lack of with out hating them as a individual .
hate is born out of ingnorance , ridiculing somebodies faith or lack of it is not hate. in the realm talk and other non contact expression hate is hard to define .
the sentence ,,go kill/hurt a >>>>>>* fill in your own word* is covered by the law already ... no need for this new restictive law .
