I expect MJ is off to Chucky Cheese with some friends now to celebrate his "Not Quilty" verdict.

Hopefully justice was done but you never can tell here, can you?
Looks like if you're famous, you can get away with anything. roll
Well, there goes a whole bunch of jokes I'd been saving up specially.

evil

This doesn't surprise me. Remember O.J. ? :-?

apart from the fact that the prosecution witnesses could string a coherant sentence together and kept contradicting each other.

There was no other option.
He should have been acquitted ages ago. The case against him was a farce.
Remember Rober Blake?

Blake's wife was shot (a hit).

I was surprised, don't know why.

Any parent who leaves their child with him after this should be prosecuted!!!!

She was shot outside a restaurant not in his house.

You're thinking of Phil Spector. I think he's still waiting for trial on that.

/damnit where's Rob S when you need him?

hink.
Yup your right.

Blakes wife was shot outside a resaurant, Spector was the woman dead in his house also shot I t

The mother and son were so dodgy in this case. I think the JC Penney lawsuit was the nail in the coffin for the prosecution. I only read about it in the paper but it seemed right he was acquitted. Like Scott Peterson there was no evidence either. It was all he said she said.
I still think MJ's a dodgy geezer though.

agreed

I wouldn't let my children alone with him, but no more so than anyone I only know superficially. I think he's vulnerable, naive, stupid, badly advised and very, very "weird", but I think this case presented against a non-celeb would have been laughed out of court ages ago. I think it's more of a case that the trial was brought because he was a celeb than that he got acquitted because he was a celeb. I know I'm in the minority there (especially given that I can't stand his music and whole stage persona), but hey, someone has to be......

Acquittal was my second choice prediction of outcomes, however. I really thought it would all get to much for him and he'd top himself during the trial.
