Anyone got the new Coldplay album yet?
It's really good in my opinion (of course! D). Can't wait to see them in concert now.

Haven't been able to buy it yet. Waiting on job news! But I heard some tracks that I downloaded *whisper* and it sounds good. That album and "Hopes and Fears" are high on my list for my first pay cheque. I'll need some good music to accompany me on the 1.5 hour commute...

It'll be worth the wait.

Me got tickets too!! :D August 31st in Columbus. Haven't got the album yet.
About two weeks ago I was in the Spotted Pig in Greenwich Village and Gwyneth and Chris walked in and sat as the table next to us...they smiled at us---so we're almost good friends..
The last time I was there Natalie Portman was there too. This is my one and only celeb hang out. (None of the beautiful people seem interested in watching Premiership football at Clancy's along with all the other sweaty Brit's)
Good musiic. I liked their first two albums but I've cheeredup since then. I heard the new CD is a bit jollier.
The album was readily available from the usual places, even before the june release date. I have been banging it out of my car stereo since then. I did a little review of it here, along with Oasis 's new one.

I got to schmooze with the lads when they were here at the office. They're quite nice lads really. Although Gwyneth's accent is really really weird, it switches from Brit to Murrikan all the time and often in the middle of a sentence. o

Where's the job? That's a helluva commute.
Funny how round here they think nothing of driving for days on vacation and will drive three hours for lunch, yet commutes over half an hour are totally unacceptable. Guess it must be different in the boonies?
Job's in K'zoo. I pretty much have to reckon on a 45-50 minute commute for any job in my field, not many IT jobs in Muskegon. This one is a great job that could very well help our return to blighty (big multinational company). So highly desirable.
My grandad finished his career with a daily commute from Clacton to North London so I am familiar with the whole concept. It will be tough but it will be worth it.
By the way, congrats on getting the job.
/still not as cool as my job.
//but nobody has a job as cool as me. Well, Zip maybe.

I thought she was British at first. Her accent is so good in Sliding Doors and the other ones where she's played a Brit.
Another thing, my American relatives can't understand why she wants to bring up her kid(s) in the UK.
Got the Coldplay album on Thursday. I must say I'm not too impressed. I was never a huge fan - I thought Rush of Blood was pretty bland - but I liked them enough to buy the record. Still, it is supposed to be a grower - lets hope so as I am can't pick any standout tracks at the moment.
Also just bought Andrew Bird's "Mysterious Production of Eggs" (which is excellent), Ben Folds "Songs For Silverman" (which is ok), and Ryan Adams new one - which is fantabbydozzy.
By the way, congrats on getting the job.
Not "official" yet but I am very confident. I'll take them in advance ;o)
Back on topic, does anyone have an MP3 of the title track I can listen to? I have heard a lot about it but the naughty sources have only supplied two songs that sound nothing like them so far.

She's got a Brit momma. Explains the weird accent thing.
