Just joined the Brit Forum.
We have just started the immigration process off by submitting our pack of documents to the Canadian High Commission in London. Now the long wait begins with anything between 9 months and 3 years wait to see if we qualify. We have arranged 3 weeks next year over in Toronto ( where we aim to settle ) and New Brunswick ( where my cousins live on the First Nations Tobique reservation ).
Looking forward to both visits for different reasons. It's nearly 30 years since I saw my cousins. In the meantime, my aunt and uncle have died ( which unfortunately effects my score on the imiigration forms as they dont count cousins - only aunts and uncles ) which is a shame. But we are looking forward to scouting locations around the edge of TO and doing more of a holiday in NB.
