Heard any good spoofs lately? Maybe not if you've been listening to US radio... however yesterday on Radio 1 I heard a take-off of the Gwen Stefani song "Hollaback Girl". The chorus went like this
A few times I've bin around your flat
And you got me movin' all o' your crap
I ain't not heavin' that girl
I ain't not heavin' that girl
Classic.
Weird Al's ripoff of the "complicated" song is my favourite, about the pizza party that no-one showed up at and he ate too much cheese...
Weird Al also did a spoof of the Backstreet Boys - it was about buying stuff on ebay. It is so stuck in my mind that I can't even remember the real song now.
Also there is a webpage of spoof songs called Twisted Tunes. These people did a spoof of "Dirty Deeds". If I can find the link and anyone wants it I will post it.
Talking of the backstreet boys, they appeared recently on one of those evening talk shows, seems like they are back again, what for I wonder, more money perhaps? They are not even worth a torrent download IMO roll

Thats the one monster - trouble is when I hear the real version the words to this version go through my head. D
My wife has this CD by a German group who are a little whacky and have a couple of Britney Spears spoofs. They're hilarious.
One of my favourites is an original song but it mocks every boy band song ever. It is by Da Vinci's Notebook and is called "Title of the Song".

It is basically a musical template, just like using a template in Word to make a business letter or CV or something.
Who's the Deutsche Gruppe, Scramble?
It's the Palast Orchester mit seinem sanger max raabe and the title is "Die Hits Des Jahres"
Included are
Lucky, Spuer Trouper (yes, the ABBA one), We Will Rock You (yep, Queen), Oops I Did it Again.
If you're interested, I reckon I could burn a copy and send it to you.
