Hi all...

My UK passport has my maiden name on it, my greencard has my first married name on it, and since then, I have remarried and me and the hubby want to take the kids to England. So, 3 official documents, (passport, greencard and drivers licence) - 3 different surnames. Will that cause a problem at the airport? Do I need to get a new greencard and / or a new passport even though none of them have expired?

Confused in Virginia -?
I would imagine the green card having the wrong name on it would cause more problems than just at the airport. Do the INS (or whatever they are called now) know your new name?

And you are a stone's throw from DC to get your new passport...

I think with just a maiden name and married name in the mix, you could get away with using either in conjunction with a marriage certificate, but only for a short length of time. If you were married twice since you got your passport I don't think customs will have any sympathy for you not updating it to be honest. I am sure you'll get into the UK with no problems but getting back with those three documents, with the borders so tight these days? I wouldn't want to.
