Another Starwars film coming out again. This was good 25 years ago, but for f***sake, why do they have to subject us to more of the crap.
This series is a tired and sorry story that should have been put out of its misery. The only people still interested in this kack are Comic Book Guy and the rest of his loser ilk.
Please stop it, stop it now, and go and produce something original.

Like Indiana Jones 4? :D
er...if it makes money they'll keep doing it. Sorry, that's the way of things.
Star Wars defies all sense. Outside of Harrison Ford and Alec Guiness all the actors in the original 3 were naff. The first is directed badly, the next two are ok, and in all honesty the story line isn't very good. The newer 3 started with Lucas making a movie that included a character (Jar Jar Binks) solely included to sell merchandise to kids. Lucas has even had the temerity to edit the originals so that old actors have been replaced with superimposed boy-Anakins.
I honestly don't get it - I'm a fair man but I don't see any value in these movies.
You couldn't pay me to watch star wars, but I downloaded it 2 days ago, just because I can roll

Isnt that a contradiction in terms? :-?

Who's making you watch it?
Anyone going to watch it?
Yeah, I will. It's a total no-brainer, go to the midnight showing which is child-free, sneak in some beers and throw popcorn at the screen and yell things like "George Lucas, you suck!" whenever it shows signs of flagging.
/no-one ever tells me to shut up at movies.
I've just been to watch it. Overall first impressions - good, but not amazing. Slow to start, some amazingly cringeworthy moments, good special effects, and excellent last 45 mins or so.
Still digesting - got into an argument with my roommate who is a total Star Wars fan and didn't approve of the fact that I disagreed with her on my impressions of the film (she clearly thought it was awesome). So v pissed off at her, which has kind of ruined it for me.
Liked the fact that everyone cheered when the music came on for the opening credits!
I'm going tonight because a friend bought tickets. Not looking forward to crowded cinema stinking of popcorn and full of loud people being annoying.
Tolerant I am.
Does living with a Star Wars nerd count! roll

Don't forget the crying kids. Had that very experience last night. Her just had to see it.
It's poo. I'd elaborate but it'd spoil the poo for everyone else. People clapped and all, but people clapping at the movie theatre...
Sheep. Poo loving sheep. These are the same kind of people that said Titanic was the best movie ever and flocked to see Pearl Harbor. (wish there was a shudder smiley)
Anyone going to watch it?
Yes, because daughter wants to watch it and her father refuses to take her. But I'm not going for a week or so, and then I'm going to the Sunday matinee showing because I can't stand movie theater behaviour either. I figure the theatre might be emptier then.
We where thinking of going to see it one afternoon while on vacation in a few weeks down in N/O .
If that doe,nt come about ill wait until netflix has it .
Avoid going to movies (expecially if its showing a general release title) to much noise moving around, crying kids , and general discurtasy to other patrons and the management never seems to get a handle on it ..
