Not that I've ever heard of, though I must say I've never been interested in it.

You can listen to it on BBC Radio 2 on the Internet.

I know that a Quebec station we get called TV5 carries it in French, but that's probably not much help to you unless you've got a big dish.

One thing I have been glad to MISS the past 6 years has been the ESC.

We love it. We get tapes sent over from Britain with Terry Wogan's caustic remarks. It's strange, surreal, could only come from Europe and occasionally produces an excellent slice of Europop.
What other contest could be won at various times by an Israeli drag Queen and Cliff Richard?

Gawd, I've just had a flashback! o When my sister and I were children (and through to our early teens), watching the ESC was exciting and considered the highlight of the week. With our parents, we sat glued to the screen and we used to love trying to guess who the winner would be. What sad plonkers we were! oops P

Yeah, its all fancy pants satelite links now. I like the days of the fuzzy radio link from Rekyavik with the guy who could hardly speak English.
