The man that stood up to Blair and beat the notion of New Labour is now taking on the US Senate who have made wild and spurious accusations against him. He's traveling to the US to face down his accusers, and knowing Georgie boy, he'll give them a right good run for r their money.

Certainly has potential to be quite entertaining.
Galloway is an awful, self important, bully. His standing in Bethnal Green was nothing more than cynical opportunism with a bit of islamic pandering thrown in. (the irony of this is that Oona King was a notorious opportunist herself and possibly had it coming). I'm not convinced of the allegations against him, but he might find a US Senate Committee a bit better resoursed than Ooa Kings election campaign and a little more able to counter his self righteous grandstandingbut - it might be nice to see him get get his comeuppance.
On the other hand, Norm Colman (chair of the senate commitee) definitely has it coming and if Galloway can do to him and the Senate what he did to Labour and Paxman on election night....
Above all, and this won't be lost on gorgeous George, if he really goes off - it will be on all the netwroks and has the potential to bring a few issues to prime time that the US media tend to ignore.
All told either Galloway or Colman has bitten off more than they can chew.
Therefore, should be fun either way D

I've just been listening to the BBC and he sounded very confident and also pulled them on what he called schoolboy howlers. I really would like him to prove them not just wrong, but biased, bigoted and everything else that goes with it.

I think he's telling a few home truths about the Republicans and the war that no-one has had the guts to say. Because he's not American no one can play the unpatriotic card. Its hilarious!

Nice opening thou, about what we expected giving both barrels. Would have been nice to hear all the questioning so all I got was the show unfortunatly.
