What a headline this is, kinda thought this was a dead duck after all the uproar. Could we be as lucky that his debts will take the club all the way to playing Forest in Div2, we can all hope lol
You heard it right, that is the only thing they are going to win this year

After what we did to everton yesterday, they better watch at cardiff wink
So, Edgely Park for the 20,000 disaffected Man U fans then? o
Won't touch them with a 100ft barge pole wink
After the recent warning given to Glazer regarding his takeover plans I had my doubts that Glazer was ready to back down but I was wrong!!
But it does vindicate something which Ive mentioned before that once a club enters into the PLC realm there is an inherant danger of takeover. I was watching the BBC World News on PBS tonight when they run an item in Tampa where the BBC reporter was interviewing Bucs fans about Glazer. I dont know if glazer is going to get the 75% or not but if he does then I get the feeling that there maybe all sorts of turmoil at Man Utd.....
The one part of me which dislikes Man Utd kind of laughs at their misfortunes but my football conscience kind of gets the better of me on this because I know he's a businessman and that Man Utd has to be a prime target for any takeover in sport and I know that he's going to bring change but at what cost?
At what cost you say? Introducing American style cheerleading, hot dogs in the stand, jumbotron TVs
Em, dont we already have that at most clubs?
Today Manchester United, tomorrow The Governing Bodies, next water breaks, quarters, video replays and a host of other time wasting things all in the name of profit. Oh don’t forget the Offside rule, almost all Americans I have spoken to don’t like it.
With Irish owners Man United have lost ground on Arsenal / Chelsea and just won the Fa Cup once (twice if they win later this month)

So it's not as if the club was on the right track now was it?

Glazer won the superbowl with the worst team in history.

I didn't realise the governing bodies were PLCs.

I never said governing bodies were PLCs.

I meant they would try to gain control or be in a position to influence the Governing Bodies to change the rules of the game in order to increase profit. In the world cup Korea they tried to pressure fifa to introduce water breaks aka advert-time.

Watched a debate on ESPN once on how penalty kicks to decide the winner was ridiculous and how they should re-play the game until you have a winner.
