Anyone care to predict who will survive the chop on Saturday? This is the first time I recall that not one team was relegated before the last day of the season - so it,as they say, all to play for...
There is a massive incentive - as last years 4th from bottom team]Everton] qualified for Europe the following season.
I'm rooting for Palace
West Brom, Palace, Southampton. I think Norwich will complete their Houdini act. I don't see Portsmouth really caring against W.Brom on Saturday since they're playing 'for' Southampton! )
Southampton deserve to go down so they get my "black ball".
This would serve them right for canning Paul Sturrock late last season, after shamefully poaching him from where he belonged.
I suppose this is unfair on the fans, whom I have no issue with but that is their problem, having Rupert Lowe-est of the Lowe in charge. evil
West Brom / Palace to stay up
Portsmouth won't show up
Man Utd will send Southampton down
Fulham will beat Naaarch
Palace may scrape a draw at Charlton
(well a horse at 50-1 won the Kentuckty Derby, so stranger things have happened.)
Bad question to ask me as we still hope to be taking one of the places up for grabs. Problem for me is Norwich, as they can burn in hell quite frankly. Thou the thought of having home and away with em' next season is quite tasty, only crux is they have to stay up if we win the playoffs or go down if we dont. Now since the playoff final is after the last day in the Prem I find myself torn on wishing them a swift hammering on the way down or scraping by for us to duke it out next season in the Prem.
Second thoughts bugger Em' lol
Will ManU field a full strength side thou with the cup final next and it's somthing of a bogey team for Utd so this could not be so simple as the saints only need a point if the others loose.
Palace to loose, Downer
Norwich to loose, Downer
Baggies to Win or possably loose, Downer
Saints to Draw with baggies loosing or win with Baggies winning, escaped again.
That all simple enough for you roll
Okay, as you know I have a vested interest in the relegation battle and Ive been mulling over this since .....err... last August wink
As a Palace fan I want them to stay up, and my dad supports West Brom so if Palace didnt stay up I'd like them to stay in the Premiership, but my better judgement tells me that Norwich will avoid the drop or maybe Southampton considering how many times theyve avoided the drop wink
So to sum up.....
My heart tells me Palace
but my head says Norwich (
I dont really care but CP is a london team so ill route for them ...to stay up D
Now if it was the gunners or spurs however .... ) ) )
I like Norwich. Despite Delia.
They wear a different colour to the red white and blue infested Premiership.
They play good football instead of the kick-what-moves purveyed by the likes of Blackburn.
They have been involved in some of the best games I have seen this season.
To be honest, none of the 4 opponents have anything to play for, so I would expect all 4 bottom teams to get fair results. Which helps Norwich no end. I just hope they sneak the win at the Cottage to eliminate all doubt.
Ok your blacklisted evil lol

Yeah, I say they need more Yella in the premiership....
To be sung while jumping up and down with a huge cheesy grin
"Scummers going down with Harry and Jim.
Scummers going down with Harry and Jim...."
I'll get my coat

Well, so much for Norwich. I was right about Portsmouth though!
