Here's a neat little half hour program about the song and the many changes it went thru. The languages, the singers and especially the girls singing at the end in a somewhat inebriated state. good for a giggle.

It's a great one for Karaoke, but I can't say I identify with it at all.
ah yes, karaoke! For me it takes me back to my 'fag hag' days when I used to go clubbing with a bunch of gay guys. We had such fun, and that was in the days before being gay was even vaguely acceptable.
Actually i don't think any of them did survive. And i've never found a better manicurist than Betty, he was just great. Used to do a continental manicure which was unheard of in London at the time.
