Does anyone have a good recipe for Mince Pies?

I dont mean the ones that you get a Christmas, I mean the ones you would get from the Butchers back home. Basically all I can remember is they seemed to only have Mince Meat ie Ground Beef (Hamburger in U.S) in some kind of gravey in them (and perhaps a little onion?)

The type of Mince Pie I am talking about, must be sooo simple to make, and anyone who was a butcher would know?
I make my own from scratch using no one recipe. I just take two or three recipes from my head and just combine them.
Using mince, diced veg and flaky pastry, and oodles of marmite/oxo/and bisto.
Heres Delia's Cornish recipe, just adapt to suit your style

Delia's Cornish Pie
Hmm but do you know how I would make a Mince Pie like the one I am talking about?

Mr Kipling.

Mr. Kipling does those Mince Pies with Fruity stuff in them.....Maybe its a northern thing or something cos Im a Geordie, but when I say Mince, I mean Hamburger as they call in the the US, Mince Meat like you would use when you make Spagettii Bolonaise, like you would fry the mince meat then add the Sauce.

That type of Mince Meat. Mince Pies all I remember they had in them was that and maybe onion in some kind of gravy. ??? Anyone have a recipe?
You mean a recipe for a meat pie?

Make some pastry, line a pie pan with said pastry, throw cooked meat, gravy and stuff into pastry, stick a pastry lid on and cook.

/it's a meat pie not rocket science

If you went into a Butchers in Newcastle and ask for a Meat Pie, they would say 'WHAT TYPE OF MEAT PIE! a Mince Pie, a Steak and Kidney Pie a Steak Pie or what are you asking for!!! ' then I would say a 'Mince pie, sorry for the confussion'

Alright, any more specific 'MEAT' Pie recipes?

Mince Pies are made with Ground Beef, Onion and Gravey....Somehow???
