I haven't heard a song this gushingly twee in a long time.

In the words of Wonkette-

"Even after repeated viewings, we still like America, We Stand As One. It's powerful. It's compassionate. It's a stirring tribute to our nation's fortitude in the face of adversity. On the other hand, it kind of makes us look like pussies. Messianic patriot Dennis Mandalone bears a resemblance to David Koresh, especially when he's leading his child army over sand dunes as they prepare to destroy Iraq, but where's the firepower? Instead of F-16s, he's got Tinkerbell angels swirling around his head. Luckily, a new mash-up fixes the problem. It depicts an America that stands as one...because after we get finished blasting the world's evildoers into democracy-loving rainbows, there won't be any other countries left. Fuck yeah!"
I thought that was dire, following some network television forumlae that sets out to pull as many heartstrings as possible, just to make a buck.

Lyrics were dumb, video was boringly crap and there are students at my university that do better CG than that in Media 101.

What's that new word we learned yesterday? Oh yeah - what a toss munch.
Yeuch!

Puts me in mind of an exceedingly bad Eurovision Song Contest entry......

USA - nil points.

Oh dear gods.

That is terrible. I want those three minutes of my life back and then scrub my eyeballs.
