Anyone going to watch the game live tomorrow? I have time on my hands thanks to Michigan being the 50th best state in the union on the employment scale. Would be fun to chat on this site while watching the game on ESPN2.

Should be a very emotional night in Liverpool.
a Liverpool fan

on the dole..........

well I never............... D
east17, you know he only works 1.5 hr from you... you could kick his butt if you wanted *LOL*
Gissa job!

Well it's my wife that's the Liverpool fan. We ended up watching it on delay when she got home from her babysitting earner.

Although the rendition of "You'll Never Walk Alone" they showed just before the second half started (cos they were too busy blabbing and running commercials when it was actually sung) brought tears to my eyes.

To see so many Juventus scarves and the half'n'half scarves in the Kop end was a terrific tribute to the people who were innocent bystanders at Heysel. Liverpool is a proud club and they have every right to be proud of their fans.

BTW I am a QPR fan.
that was some goal though yesterday.
Luis Garthththia? Yeah it was! I was just saying maybe five minutes before that, it looks like he was having even more fun than usual out there. He never looks like he's doing anything but having the time of his life.

I thought the first one was a pretty sweet strike for a centre back. As Tommy said, with most centre backs you'd expect it to hit the corner flag coming off the left boot like that.

Shame they let the goal in. They were going well for a while. I think they'll still go through. A goal in Turin will be the best target for them to aim at.

novel concept, aim for the goal.

but yeah, know what you mean.

I watched the game.....was really moved at half time and You'll Never Walk Alone until ESPN2 cut to commercials! Heartless gits!

I was a bit dissappointed to read today that some hard core Juve fans turned their backs and gave the middle finger salute when Phil Neal and Ian Rush presented a banner of friendship but it seems the majority were more in the spirit of forgiveness .
Sad to see Ian Rush part ways with Chester City today.

My brother used to go see him play at Sealand Road when he was an apprentice there. Seems a waste to can him when he'd been a decent, novice manager.

Hope Rushie gets signed up by another team soon - Plymouth has need of a manager in possession of a clue wink
Seems he wasn't canned, he quit.....they canned his assistant without his consent so he resigned. He said it was the last straw so sounds like he had had enough. Hopefully he will be snapped up!
If you have ever seen Chester City play, then you will be surprised that he lasted so long!
As for Plymouth, he is a Northern boy, and I think he will try to stick around the area.

If only they'd thought of that concept in the Stockport dressing room, eh...?

We never thought of bringing in half of South America to teach us that's why.
