The big punch up between two morons, Bowyer being the main moron.

Total and utter disgrace........
You can't really see much....commentry's not much use either.
What the heck was it all about anyway?
Got to agree with you on the Moron analysis
was that the highlight or was the rest of the game worth watching ???
They showed some analysis of it on the Sunday edition of Sky Sports News. There were a couple of examples of Dyer not passing to Bowyer in the highlights included on the EPL Review Show, and SSN showed a couple more in this clip from a Sunday footy analysis programme back home. The final one was right before the incident, from the kick-off after Villa's last goal. Bowyer played the ball out to Dyer on the wing, and asked for it back for a one-two down the line. Dyer instead checked back and passed it to Boumsong in defence. Dyer ran upfield, and it seemed Bowyer said something to him which made him turn around and face what Bowyer wanted to throw at him.
Disgraceful. Never seen anything like it in 30 years watching this game. Not even at Isthmian League level. If it wasn't such a disgrace it would be f-in hilarious, given the disciplinary problems surrounding Toon of late. Such as Bellamy's departure.

Mickey Flanagan and Derek Hales (Charlton) was the other famous one. - no photo's though! I've seen it a few times in my playing days. And did play in a match where a referee belted a player five minutes into the game and then walked off into the sunset...
I was reading the Daily Mirror on Saturday - Dyer was apologizing to the Toon army for refusing to play for Bobby Robson - and promising to turn over a new leaf. Bowyer has proved himself to be a nasty piece of work on and (mainly) off the pitch. Be nice to see him sacked- but I guess that won't happen.
Anyone out there got any doubts what would happen to them if they take a swing at a colleague?
Now you mention it, I seem to remember the Flanagan-Hales bust-up being on the back of the papers at the time. Don't think I ever saw video of it though.
Hey you dont have to go that far back in time for a on pitch fight!! wink
Howabout the famous Graham Le Saux Vs David Battie Fracas at Blackburn a few years ago?? Didnt that get them both a european ban?
Grobbelaar and McManaman nearly came to blows once for Liverpool a few year ago.
