Landon donovan is in my mind one of americas top internationals he played a good game last wednesday in the us victory over Guatemala .

Not denying he is a good player, but coming home after less than 3 months in Germany is a bit weak. Anyway, he will think he is back in Germany tonight with the weather here.

I rate Donovan too. Ive always thought he was a good player. I dont blame him for coming back because he was unhappy that he wasnt starting at Leverkusen and some players just want to play and not sit on a bench. I dont blame him for that.

The Metrostars are playing Real Salt Lake City (hilarious name D ) tonight. The Metrostars have offloaded a few players and have got a fairly young squad with a few veterans in the side. Jeff Agoos is playing for the Metrostars and some french bloke called Youri Djorkaeff (who's already injured wink ) Tonight's game will see the return of Clint Mathis who was another German exile at Hanover but who came back wink

Set my tv to turn to abc at 2 pm when the game started had a shower got my beer and fishes sat down aND as soon as the channel changed to abc ...... the pope dies and the programe shifted to the coverage of that .

mybe he timed it right to piss me off if not it was really bad timing .
he hangs on on all night and morning all programs are deferred to covering hi dimise 24/7 ...

Comes sat afternoon first and only programe i wont to see ( dc /chivis ) socer match and at the exact time coverage starts he pops of ...... talk about timing ..

Last Saturday, Schulte(centre back) was decent, LA tried to attack through him all the time but got nowhere. Razov, played well, drags the centrebacks out of position a lot - Martino should get a few goals from this.

Otherwise decent performance given the weather, and there was never 14K plus there.
