Got the current issue of the Rolling Stone yesterday and read this interesting if depressing article

http//www.rollingstone.com/politics/story/_/id/7203633.

I have been saying to my husband, wonder how everyone will cope when the US is a 3rd world country in about 50 yrs. According to this article it might be a tad sooner than that, if they don't get their fingers out and become creative about energy resouces. Of course this applies to Europe to a certain degree as well, but at they have begun to address the issue. They certainly aren't banking on an oil field that might be or not be there in Alaska.
can't get the link to work kl -?
Grandson of bush would probably introduce a tax cut for it or something. Or invade Swaziland, to take peoples minds off of it.
Oh, the whole Peak Oil thing, right?

Do a Google search. There are a few looney toon sites but it's some scary reading. Makes you wonder how anyone can justify buying a vehicle that gets 10 mpg.

/yes, that means you, Hummer drivers.
