I finally took the plunge. After spending a month on the American Expats forum looking into preparations for our move to the UK, I decided to join this board to help while away the next year or three.
Born in Walthamstow, London. Lived there until 12 years ago when I jumped ship (and 14% unemployment locally) to go live in Bavaria. Then I spent some time in Switzerland, then Bavaria again, then I met my girl on ICQ. We got married within 11 months of meeting online. This year we celebrate our 6th anniversary.
Since getting to the States I have been employed in the IT industry as a tech support / help desk type person.
In my spare time I play and organise Subbuteo events here in Michigan, and design web sites. I have recently started learning PHP and MySQL to make things a little more intricate.
