Czeslaw Slania the master engraver of stamps and banknotes is dead at 83.He did most of his engraving for Swedish Stamps.During the war he worked for the Polish underground forging German documents.

This one is his test engraving for graduation from the Polish Art College
(It took him 2 years to do and he nearly lost his eyesight doing it).
