Hello all! Whilst I realise that I am just an American, I was hoping to introduce myself regardless. I am sure that eventually, my other half will begin to post (once he starts to miss the Mother Land a bit).
I am the American half of a soon-to-be married couple. I met my English fiance, Paul, while I was living in Edinburgh. Paul has lived in Scotland since he was in college (officially more than 1/2 his life).
We are finishing up the visa process at the moment; his interview should come any day now. We will then wed on May 21 in Cle Elum, WA (my home town) and plan to settle in Seattle.
I am hoping that this board will come in handy for Paul, as I know that the American expats board I post with was great while I was living overseas. I'm looking forward to the wealth of knowledge!
