I just conducted a survey of people who'd eaten this stuff. Out of approx 25 people, no one had ever heard of it. Anybody have any idea what the US name for it is? Or is it one of those weird things that don't exist here? Am I missing something obvious? I distinctly remember the horrible pink rabbit shaped things at birthday parties - surely they have them here?
Thanks a lot. Now I am hungry for Blancmange. But only the type without that nasty skin.
No I don't think there is an equivelant here.
It is made from almond milk and cornstarch sugar etc.
Why it was pink I have no idea.
The skin was always my favourite part - like custard skin lol

I almost said something was like a pink blancmange the other day - but had to stop myself. roll
My Grandma used to make a pink one in a bunny mold if I was ill from school. I always had the ears for some reason.

It was prety good with a bit of whipped cream.
Mmmmmmm....love it!

I made some jelly whip yesterday. That was nice too!

Egon Ronay regards....
