D'you ever see Bobby Hill doing his Dog Dancing on King Of The Hill? Well, here's the actual thing. Hilarious? Yes. Painful? Even more so. But the most painful thing is that ALL THESE PEOPLE ARE FRIKKING BRITISH!

Bungle, what is painful about training a dog to do that?
I watched the Gladiator movie and was amazed. Then I went to the wbsite site to read more about 'Fly' and what a wonderful story.

I watched the routines at Crufts in 2001, and was amazed at the whole thing.
The amount of time and training that has gone into perfecting these routines is enormous.
Every little detail was accurate and precise, and none of the dogs were distracted by all the children running around the hall.
It is a very difficult thing to train a dog to do so well, so I think its great. D
I find it unsettling but fascinating.
What wonderfull examples of love, respect ,understanding between animal and human , something to to proud of if you acheive it .

If only half the pet owners in this world treated there pets with the love and affection shown here our animal shelters would be almost empty .

Why are you putting it down bungle would you sooner see the dogs beaten to within a inch of there lives .??
The 'Gladiator' one was awesome.

Not cruel, the dog was having a great time and it was a clever routine.
Well, seeing as there is an interest in this sort of thing - the Westminster Kennel Club is offering streaming video of this year's competition, broken down by breed.

Which also gives me an excuse to use some Best In Show quotes...

"Put some hurtin' on them Yankee dogs!"

"I've banged a lot of waitresses in my day but you, you were the best."

"Roasting a goat in the room...I still to this day don't understand....get the smell of the cumin & charcoal out of the drapes...."

"Can you believe these new girls? None of them use birth control, and they eat all the steak!"
Thanks,
I already watched some of the streams this morning, and I think its a great idea. It must have been a lot of time and effort to upload all of the breeds, but I was really impressed with the quality and organisation of the clips.
For the nerdy types like me who are into the whole show and competition scene, then I think its great. Especially as I didn't have the time to go to Westminster this week (unlike some lucky people I know wink ).
I watch when i can the *dog * shows on animal planet .

The proud way theses dogs hold themslves and the *vibes * between handler and animal is a sure sign these dogs are loved, respected , and somewhat spoilt by there owners .
