A group of psychics led by colourful 'SilverJade', based in Johannesburg South Africa, have predicted that a series of earthquakes and other natural disasters will strike the western coast of the United States on or around the 23rd of February 2005. The prediction is based on the interpretation of a series of dreams by SilverJade, and the technical analysis of earthquake patterns occuring worldwide throughout the month of January 2005. As of 11th of February 2005, they have successfully predicted a significant event, a 5.5 magnitude earthquake in south eastern Alaska, as being a first step in a series of smaller events leading up to the big bang. The next step of the prediction is set to occur at some time on or around the 13th and 15th of the month.

At least they aren't being led by the Applegates.
They reckon Mt St Helens should go boom too as part of the action so they are really going out on a limb. Let's hope they are wrong. Course if they are right not only will there be a horrible disastor, we might also have to start taking John Edwards more seriously, which is almost as bad.
It's only a matter of time that the west coast gets a big earthquake. That fault is just waiting to buckle and it amazes me that people spend a fortune for property right on top of it.
I don't mind - it means I get beachfront property.

/Is losing California really such a bad thing?

A nice little earthquake to separate Washington, Oregon and California might be nice, so we can float off to our own Utopian spot in the Pacific.

Be a convenient time to cecede as well wink

Blue states regards....

Why haven't we all been invited? Seriously, if Operation Maczippy goes smoothly you're gonna need someone to clean the dishes. I nominate Manc. I'll supervize.
