Any relation to Mr. Hammond's Organ? Or maybe Jon Bon Tempi?

Oh, alright then, they passed go and will now be playing only to select audiences seated on fluffy clouds.
Jimmy Smith was the jazz muscian whose mastery of the Hammond organ makes most organ players these days look like frauds.
His most famous hit was Walk on the wild side. He did a heel toe thingy with the pedals and produced sounds that most conventional players thought was impossible. Of course nowdays they just plug the keyboard in and program it, they don't actually need to learn much, let alone develop a way of playing.
