Hi, I'm a 25 year old Brit girl who's just finished her PhD at Brum Uni. (They all think I'm a genius here as they're all still doing their undergrad degrees when they turn 60 it seems! wink ).
Started a postdoc in Washington State University November 2004 and still feeling the culture shock - where's the Ribena I ask? What you've never heard of Christmas crackers? Eggs come in 18s - I can't eat that many (and they're white!).
Googled to try and find some mates to go to the pub with (so many tee-totallers out here!) and for a little of the old English dry sarcasm.
