It's having all the mad sub-species of Christianity that does it.
Lutheran, Baptist, Southern Baptist, etc. And it's a scientific fact that the bigger, longer and more impressive the name of the church, the smaller, crappier and more loco the actual building and congregation are.

The subject of snakes came up the other day while I was talking to our pastor's wife. Let's just say that there would be no chance of us handling snakes, unless you actually *wanted* us to spazz out!!!!!!
