Did anyone see Billy Connolly last night on Conan O'Brien? He was hilarious, but he only had a couple of minutes. Instead most of the time was taken up by that prat from American Beauty bleating on about some no mark 1950s lounge singer.
Disgraceful, if he wanted good ratings have more British comedians.

I missed that particular show but Billy Connelly has been on Conan and on Craig Kilburn's show. He was pretty good then.

I did see him on the Daily show with Jon Stewart last night, I thought he was quite amusing ni an odd way but I don't think the audience found him to be that hilarious really. Always found him very hit and miss myself.
He dId a series last year when he drove around the UK on a motorcycle - just poking around and point out stuff he was interested in...
