Saw it this weekend. Set in London and stars Jude Law, Julie Roberts, Clive Owen and Natalie Portman (actually there is nobody else in the movie at all apart from a cab driver and a customs officer, each with one line).

Okay, but WAY too much like a play. There is something about film versions of plays that just does not work -- the dialogue just seems far too stilted in the context of the real world and not in the artificial setting of a stage.

But the way, not much actual nudity in this but DEFINITELY not one for the kids -- the language (not just the words, but the themes) is about a rauncy as I have seen in any mainstream movie.

Overall, quite disappointed. Shame that with a group of actors like this they could not pull off something better.
So does Natalie Portman get her kit off? That's the burning question.
Not completely, but you won't be disappointed on that front given her performance in the strip club scene . . .
One good thing about the movie is the Damien Rice song (which was a huge hit in Ireland apparently). Here's a link with the song and video. A very laid back and a bit gloomy break up song, but really good stuff.

(Oh and, yes, Vegas, you do get to see a bit of Natalie's bottom in the video.)
My wife went to skool with Natalie Portman. Pointless info but hey...
Bumping this (new piece of board lingo I have just learned), just because by now more of you may have seen this movie. Cool video if you are bored at work.

I was not wild about this movie, but towards the end of the vid there is a short shot of Portman merely turning around after her conversation with Owen's character at the gallery. The changes in expression she shows on her face in about 2 seconds is some truly exception acting and, for me, was enough to win her that oscar nod.
