This is a sad little story but is it right to blame the Dating Agency? It is no longer possible to have bad-luck or make mistakes. It is always someone elses fault. (Preferable someone with lots of spare cash).
This is one thing I don't like about US.
If you start consorting with blokes who are incapable of getting a girlfriend in their own country - you need to be a little bit extra careful I would think.
(Also, this could have serious implications for BritNet!
The internet can be blamed for all out misfortunes. If a fight broke out at a Brit Net meet-up - the injured party could sue Nigel Reed for failing to weed out violent psycho's.... )
wink

cyber meeting (for freinship sex whatever) is dangerous anybody doing it should be aware and take responsiblily if and when it goes wrong .
More of the malaise that is enveloping America BLAME SOMEBODY ELSE .
all axe murderers no doubt.

Have you ever wondered what drives someone to such a desperate act as to murder a whole bunch of axes? :o :P

Meeting someone in a bar or at a party is no safer than meeting them on the internet. The internet didn't make people violent and crazy. Those people would be just as dangerous if they were meeting people in bars or clubs. The world is a dangerous place.

To a point I AGREE but with a live *face to face * you at least stand a chance of making a opinion as to wether that person is WHAT YOU ARE LOOKING FOR.
With a *blind * internet date you cant even be sure the person is of the same sex as advertised and in the same age group ... CAVEAT EMPTOR

This is why it is really unfair - If you meet someone in a club or a friend introduces you - would you be able to sue the pub or your friend? No difference I say.
However, there a lot of 'opportunists' - and the internet increases productivity so to speak. Check out the Welsh Mick Jagger....
