Chelsea are a bit Blackburn Rovers a decade or so ago.
Throw enough money at it and yes, you'll probably secure the Premiership but to make it "last" takes a bit more talent upstairs.
Manchester United's downward spiral and the departure of Martin Edwards are no coincidence. Couple that with the loss of David Beckham and it is easy to see why the Red Devils' fortunes have turned for the worse.
Abramovich isn't making many friends at the moment as British football had recently got a handle on the transfer fees and he's single-handedly torpedoed all of that now.
