Dems - no idea
well, no one else will be allowed to run. He'll get "98%" of the victory and go on to invade Mexico for more tequila and just cuz it's fun to drive El Camino's in the desert.
Not only is she a very polarising figure, but do you really think that any those midwestern and southern states that voted for Bush this time would vote for a WOMAN?
So, I reckon
Rep McCain (maybe Jeb Bush)/Guliani
Dem Bill Richardson/Obama
The big question is, what can the Dem's do to move over to the center more? What can they do, if anything, to capture the interest of moderate Repubs and more of the independents? How can they appeal to the large red middle and south parts of the country?
At least we know that next time, we won't be electing Bush again, at least not George W. Bush. Maybe the crown will pass along to Jeb?
McCain's a solid guy, but right now he is pretty out of synch with where the Republican party is. He's a lot more like a conservative democrat right now.
The Clinton's had their time.
I would like to see all the Democratic primaries in 2008 conducted on the SAME day.
It seems to me that Iowa picked Kerry and then everyone else just followed like sheep.
He predicted last night on the radio that the law regarding the mandatory native born USA citizen as a requirement to run for president is going to be turned over, apparently this bill has support from Ted Kennedy (I wonder why? wink ) and.............. get ready for this he predicts that Arnie is going to run with Hilary for the 2008 presidency...... He was Dead serious when he said this last night!!
check out his site....

Arnie seems to have liberal social views so long as tax/spending is controlled.
Obviously it doesn't work. So they should go back to being the party on the left. We now have an extreme right wing fundamentalist party running the show, so people need to have a clear idea of the differences.
It ain't going to hurt them.
I'm all for coastal secession though. Make the middle of the US pay heavily for all the stuff that's grown in California....
lol
Sweet! Now we just need the folks up in Olympia/Seattle to agree and it's all settled.
Having said that, I'm eyeing a move to Republican Arizona in a few years :D

I totally agree. If this election has taught us anything it should be that the Democrats would foolish to nominate Clinton.
They need a person who can appeal to the soft religious area of the mid and upper mid west. That person will have to incorporate and hopefully redefine American Christianity.
The South is lost, we can forget about that, they are a bunch of racist/homophobes who use relgion to justify their bigoted identity.
Similarly, the Republicans know how they won this election, and will never nominate a McCain or a Guliani .
They'll roll out some some kind of southern sounding evangelical type. Why change a winning formula?
I thought they already did...

Fortunately he can't become President. Not born in the USA.
