HI Rachel - don't know if you'll still read this but I'd be up for meeting up in Toronto. Moving there in January, already have a roommate and job lined up, just waiting for the immigration stuff to come through.

Good luck, Michelle. Toronto at this time of the year is on the cold side, But one thing for sure, unlike some British places you will be nice and warm anywhere in your home.
I'm in Ottawa 4 hours drive east. Been here 41 years and have never wanted to return. Last visited in 1982 for one week, that was enough.
I retired 12 years ago and have all my children and granchildren close by.
I'm really looking forward to it - I've been waiting to get out there fully since August! I've just come back from a three week reccy - to meet my colleagues, find a flat etc - and I loved it. The people are so super friendly! I definitely want to do some exploring as well while I'm there, with Ottawa being one of many places on my list.
Been to Canada 3 times now and from what I've seen of it Cleavem it's a wonderful country, very friendly peoples, pubs-oh-yes, decent indian restaurants and all the Brit food you want to buy. Home from home really wink . Traffic in Toronto was abit m25-ish when we were there, but it looks to be a beautiful city. Stratford is also v nice and we particularly liked Ottawa (despite all the druggies in the cneter o ). Lovely countryside and many mooses. Niagara Falls (from the Canadian side) is beyond amazing. Hope u like snow though )

Hope you can help...I'm with a Casting Director in Toronto and we are currently looking to cast children 14-15 yrs with authentic British accents for a YTV game show called "Ghost Trackers". Your post came up when I did a general google so I thought I would drop you a line.
