The New England Patriots unbeaten streak came to a grinding halt on Sunday when they run into a very tight Pittsburgh Steelers defence. The Pats were beaten 34-20 at Pittsburgh and so the Pats had 21 straight wins, not a bad run though. I got a strange feeling that Buffalo will be a part of their next winning streak!! wink I thought the ironical part was that The New England Revolution (managed by ex Liverpool player Steve Nicol) beat the Columbus Crew on Sunday 2-1 ( on aggregate) at Columbus, so it was a good run of 18 games unbeaten but Columbus couldnt get the win when it counted. Columbus missed 2 penalties too. o
All good things come to an end I suppose wink

Yep. Don't know why Greg Andrulis the Columbus coach decided to change things around because I would have thought the 17 game unbeaten team would have done nicely...particularly with him putting idiot Washington up front instead of Buddle  Still, they missed two penalties - very poorly taken penalties... and didn't really play well.
Oh well, maybe the New England thing is an omen for the election? :D Maybe we should have gotton rid of the idiot Washington and the Washington idiot? :)
