At my sons program today a NJ congressman paid a visit.... His a republican and was discussing how the vote and electoral college works. Then was stating how he had his photo taken with Bush sr, Bush jr, Reagan and Guilliani (sp). He was also taking questions from the children. My son was sitting impatiently with his hand up but was never chosen. Fortunately a teacher picked my nine year old son to ask the congressman his question seperately since he was supposed to of finished already. Which was along the lines of How do the republicans view people who vote democrat and vice a versa.... This after our conversation in the car had me saying something along the lines of republicans are selfish, self serving and mean people...... After he responded to my son he then said not to forget about what he said earlier (these childrens ability to run for office when their older). To which I responded "Yes, he'd make a great democrat!, unfortunately since he wasn't born here he can't run for president, which is a shame as he'd make a much better president then congressman". I know I should of kept my mouth closed but...........
