I was saddened to hear this news. They should have knighted the guy.
Lets hope Spurs can recapture that form again.
I mean if Chelsea, the perennial regulation bouncers can improve and Leeds can go down anything is possible.

Well you would imagine that this news would get the fans going. It's a sad state thought that I'm sure not many in the current organisation would really know much about old Bill. With the possible exception of Chris Hughton, there aren't that many old school fellas there any more, are there?

I can just about remember Bill Nicholson from years ago, I can imagine from a Spurs fans point of view Nicholson's memory was a good one. It's always a shame to hear about the loss of figures like Bill Nicholson in football.
