So the unbeaten run ends at 49 games!!
Man Utd beat them 2-0 yesterday at Old Trafford.
I watched the game with my trouble and strife, she was running all over the place celebrating when the Ruud boy scored from the penalty spot. I dont know if anyone else see the game but I didnt think it was that good. it was a scrappy niggly sort of game with no real flow to it. I thought the penalty decision was very dubious, to me Rooney fell a bit too easily, I'll admit that Campbell had a leg outstretched there but the fall by Rooney was just a bit to theatrical for my liking wink

Still, a little later Alan Smith and Rooney combined for a well taken goal at the end. so I didnt feel so really bad for Arsenal (I cant believe I just said that? wink ) Chelsea are within 2 points of Arsenal and Man Utd have got much need 3 points and a big boost for their season.

Actually, thinking about it, it only puts Everton within 3 points!! o Just before the start of the season if you would have told me that Everton would sell Rooney and still be 3rd in the table with a good chance of going higher I might have laughed wink but there aboain if you would have told me that Palace was way off the bottom of the league I would have laughed too wink Then I'd have said well, there's plenty of games to go yet!! (
Gutted!!!

That’s how I feel and will feel for a while. I was at Nevada Smiths (the Home of ManU) for this one. The bar was packed with plastic Mancs and Arsenal die-hard.

After watching the replay over and over again it was clear that Rooney dived as Sol made no contact with him and the Ref was God-awful.

In the end Manu won as we failed to score a single goal and that’s what counts.

It’s not so much that we lost the match, it’s that we lost to ManUre, I would rather loose to Palace.

The Alan Smith and Rooney combo was a good finish a nice break away goal the price you pay for committing everyone up front in an attempt to pull one back.
Oh man, poor Arsenal fans. roll Right Manc? Try supporting a team than loses almost every week..... evil D

So he did a Pires then.

Speaking of Everton, there is a story that's too good for me to check out to see if it's true regards them and a royal.

"One year Liverpool are in the FA Cup Final and one of the Royals is there to shake hands and generally wave and present the cup at the end. Next year, Everton make it to the Cup Final, same Royal on duty. Meeting the teams before the match she asks one of the True Blues " So, just where is Everton?" It's in Liverpool M'am." "Really? That is interesting. Did you know that we had your first team here last year?"

When Arsenal fans consistently turn up week after week to cheer on the team and the plastics turn up only when ManUre Plays Arsenal or Chelski …. I say plastics…..
