In reality it is highly unlikely to be 90 days.
When I came over we did the forms ourselves instead of using lawyers. Took about 28 days (including weekends).
We sent my Wifes form off April 1st and got the receipt this week. I would recon on getting the EAD within the next 3 weeks.
This is a similar story for a friend of ours, i.e. about 40 days in total.

thanks for the info. I sent my application off and have a receipt dated 19th March, hopefully shouldnt be too much longer then!!
