I was just over in the UK for a few days and found myself watch UK Gold a lot, which makes me feel really old. They show a lot of the old shows. Here's what I watched
Dad's Army (I STILL know all of the names of the characters!)
It Ain't Half Hot Mum (aka, It Aint Half Incredibly Insensitive to Racial Stereotypes Mum)
Open All Hours (which I never saw first time round, but didn't miss much)
The Vicar of Digbly (much more recent, Dawn French, quite funny).
Sad to say, however, a lot of those old shows really were pretty weak, even though they are a lot funnier in my memories. Probably does not pay to revisit them too much . . .
