Are there shows you'd like to see brought back for awhile to sort of update you on what the characters may be up to now?

Reason I wonder is I just heard on the radio that there will be one more episode of Seinfeld sometime soon. As long as they make it just like the last ones it should be good. The updates for The Office were very funny, but the time-travel Blackadder one was just awful. Horrible. So it's hit and miss. And there's some I wouldn't touch like Porridge or Fawlty Towers.

Id like to see The Young Ones brought back for an hour so we can see what the students are up to now. I always imagined Rick got a job in government as a Conservative. And Ade Edmondson would do a brilliant psychologist for Vivian.
How about Open all Hours.....would be interesting to see if Granville is still riding the Grocery Pushbike lol

Bottom, which continues in the form of a live concert DVD release every year sort of is like growing up with The Young Ones. Also, in a sense, Rik was a Conservative minister in 'The New Statesman'. He was quite a similar character anyway.

BTW all three series of Bottom are available on one DVD - in North America! Those who are fans can probably order it from the BBC America shop. I picked up mine at HMV up here for around $70 CAN. It was worth every penny and handily replaced a very incomplete rag tag collection of videos. I split my sides when I watch it.

Cool - I love that show. I'll pick my own Bottom as soon as I can. D
As for shows I'd like to see now. How about the original cast of Grange Hill at a school reunion - or the original cast of Eastenders - Susan Tully et al ? If George Cole is alive, I wouldn't mind another Minder too. I really like the Only Fools And Horses specials they have every once and awhile, usually at Christmas.
