No its not Dad's Army!! )
Its The Hichhiker's Guide To The Galaxy wink
Radio 4 are broadcasting some all new episodes starting on September 21st
Apparently its been like 25 years since the BBC first broadcast THGTTG. I can just about remember some of the BBC radio and TV episodes. I did read one of the sequels (The Restaurant At The End Of The Universe) but that was a long time ago!! Apparently William Franklin is doing the voice of the guide.
Anyone else remember Ford Prefect, Arthur Dent and co?

How about some Vogon poetry?
THHGTHG was my specialist subject in a school quiz when I was 11 or so. (I won of course) o
I've never heard the radio plays, I saw they were on the web a little while ago, I'll try and have a listen when I'm allowed on the computer to play Global Combat P
The Dirk Gently books are good too.
I heard it on the radio before I saw it on TV. Maybe this is why I found it a bit pants on TV.
To be honest, a lot of it went over my head back then although some parts were very funny. Douglas Adams just died a short while ago, didn't he?

Douglas Adams died a while ago from a heart attack.
There still is talk of there being a film version of THGTTG. I wonder if it'll have the same makeover as Thunderbirds did :o
