I was wondering what some of you eat as really good snacks. I'm sick of Snyder's BBQ Pretzels (I don't even l;ike normal pretzels but these are gorgeous) and beef/garlic popcorn. So, dazzle me with your delicious pig-out food!
dry roasted unsalted almonds and hazelnuts from Whole Foods store. Yogurt in individual cups, unsalted no oil popcorn, also from Whole Foods. Also good quality fruit. Dark chocolate, too.
That's when I'm being 'good!' Hehe!! lol
Jacobs Cream Crackers with butter and cheshire cheese. mmmmmmmmm
I like to eat those Snyders Onion and Mustard pieces or whatever they're called....yummy.
I also get cheap cheese sandwich cracker type deals in little packets of 6 each.
Mixed rice crackers thingies with the wasabi peas and beans in. Great stuff. Mind i buy them from the International Bazaar so they're not in a pack, but Trader joes do a similar thing at twice the price.
Can't remember the name, but those nuts shaped like comas. Lightly salted, also bought in bulk. If you buy them in packs they're really expensive!
Spicy olives. What can i say, i don't like mass produced stuff. Basically i can't handle corn syrup. 8)
I like the Indian snacks (used to call it bombay mix in England).
I normally buy one called 'Hot Bhusu Mix'.
New Meijers store opened in Noblesville last month and they stock it.... )
We don't really do snacks, but in a moment of weakness yesterday, I picked up some pakoras, bahjis, samosas etc. I'm about to pop them in the oven and open a bottle of fizz.
Fruit and fruit. And if I'm really feeling snackish I have more fruit o
Cereal, Triscuits or Kettle Popcorn..
Feel the munchies coming on now...
Crisps, chocolate, ice cream, burritos, pretty much anything with artificial flavouring.
carrots, celery, fruit and olives and peanuts (unsalted).
dreyers Whole Fruit Ice lollies, the coconut ones are really goof, trail mix, Sam's Club does a great big bag for $4.49. White toast and real butter, washed down with a nice strong cup of tea.
low fat wheat thins (taste better than the high fat ones -- who needs fat in their crackers anyhow). Spinach bites from Costco - they are delicious and we are all addicted to them. guacamole, smoked salmon and fresh mozarella balls!! Now I am hungry!!
Damn, but y'all eat some hippy nonsense masquerading as food.
