It's whats for dinner.
For most of my married life, both of thems, I have tried all types of beef for stir fries. Most of them have rendered reasonable dishes, but a little chewy! Till now.
I have discovered, through my eldests love of all things Asian, the Suruki Supermarket. This wonderful store stocks thinly sliced cuts of meat that are perfect for stir fries roll Whyever didn't I think of it before!
Anybody else had a recipe that was greatly improved whilst living this side of the world?
No - mostly the other way D but that's a good tip.
I wouldn't say improved necessarily but when my wife is here she has no problem finding the right stuff to do her German cooking.
Her dad's german so she grew up with it.
She'll make either sauerkraut or rouladen using beef olives that she buys from Wal Mart.

Only the one for special brownies. I'm not really sure that's suitable for this thread though.
