Julia Childs the TV cook died on Friday, she was 91 years of age. She did a lot of cookery shows on PBS and etc..

I dont want to make too much of a production but I did enjoy watching her programmes, she had a practical kind of slapstick way of cooking which used to make me laugh, Julia Child's programme with Jacques Pepin was good too. Did anyone else watch her cookery shows at all?
She was a HUGE influence on America. Like Delia Smith.
This is a very nice eulogy from the Julie/Julia Project.

The first time I saw Julia I thought she was a man in drag talking in a squeaky voice to get laughs - really!
