Anyone remember this movie from 76.? Saw it for the first time this weekend and though in many ways it's dated and clunky, and the sexism is astonishingly blatant, I thoroughly enjoyed it. Michael York and Jenny Agutter star. She spends most of the film barely dressed whereas Michael York slowly develops handsome tears in his costumes, one from a weapon the rest along the seams.
Peter Ustinov also appears and as usual is bloody brilliant. Just love that guy. D
I remember that. Pretty good movie.
Ive watched Logan's Run a few times. I was wandering if anyone watched the TV series which used to be on ITV back in the seventies?
Oh, man. I vaguely remember that series.
Of course, the best thing about Logan's Run for a young lad was seeing Jenny Agutter's boobies.
I remember seeing it in Toronto when it came out. Some idiot in the cinema was listening to a football game on a transistor radio during the movie and made a fuss when the management threw him out.
I remember Peter U stole the show (no surprise there), and there was a gorgeous woman with cascades of blonde hair and a strong chin, who I fancied from the word go. That was Farrah Fawcett, shortly before Charlie's Angels made her world famous.

I was thinking the exact same thing.
Absolutely, Jenny Agutter in the all-together, very life affirming.
They are doing a remake soon, no change there then.

A long way from "The Railway Children"...
She gave the full monty in "Walkabout", another family movie.
I think she got them out in "An American Werewolf in London" too. D

Probably turned from a young man into a not so young man.... :o
Sorry, I thought I had entered an episode of "Coupling" for a minute there. Jenny Agutter, guaranteed full frontal!
Jenny Agutter, guaranteed full frontal!
Now, that would be an excellent movie title.
In the movie Equus (1977, with Richard Burton) she does the full monty several times.
The book that Logan's Run is based on was much darker than the movie, if I recall. Loved the tv series also - very campy.
That is such a great film! Very 70s! I've got the book of it somewhere although I'm not sure if the book came first or the film did.
Josie
The book was written in 1967, the movie was 1976.
